  • Size: Approximately 9mm in diameter

Each bead is a testament to the Venetian artistry, made using the lampwork technique. In this process, molten glass is skillfully wound around a mandrel to form beautiful, durable beads. The trail decoration involves applying threads of molten glass to create intricate patterns, adding to the visual appeal and uniqueness of each piece.

Venetian trade beads played a significant role in commerce, particularly in West Africa and Ghana, where they were traded for gold, ivory, and other goods. These beads are cherished not only for their beauty but also for their historical importance, representing a cross-cultural exchange that spanned continents.

Whether you're a collector or simply admire the craft, these antique wound glass beads bring history, art, and beauty to any collection.
