Introducing five exquisite antique banded millefiori Venetian mosaic glass trade beads, a beautiful set of beads originally used in the African trade during the early 1900s. These vibrant and colorful beads were crafted with exceptional skill in Venice, Italy, and are known for their intricate mosaic patterns and cultural significance.
- Size: 10mm in length, 7mm in diameter
- Condition: Very good, with light bevelling and minimal chipping at the ends (see photos)
These stunning beads were made using the renowned Venetian technique of layering glass to create unique, floral-inspired mosaic patterns, often referred to as "millefiori" (meaning "a thousand flowers" in Italian).
