These eco-friendly beads are meticulously crafted by hand. Artisans crush recycled glass bottles into a fine powder, which is then placed into clay molds. The powdered glass is fired in a kiln, where the heat fuses the glass particles into solid, durable beads.
What sets these fancy Krobo beads apart is their intricate decoration. Artisans use natural dyes, glass fragments, and finely detailed tools to etch or paint unique motifs onto each bead. The decorated beads are fired again to set the designs, ensuring their vibrant patterns are long-lasting.
