History and Craftsmanship
The "Lost Wax" technique is an ancient process that has been used for centuries in Africa to create intricate brass and bronze beads. In this method, a wax model of the bead is first sculpted, and a clay mold is formed around it. The wax is melted and drained, leaving a cavity where molten brass is poured. Once the brass has cooled, the mold is broken to reveal the bead, ensuring that no two beads are exactly alike.
