A beautiful strand of different NEW powder glass African beads, made by the people of Kroboland/Krobo , IMITATING old Venetian FANCY trade beads and NEW brass beads.
The brass beads are made in the Ashanti region (Kumasi-Ghana , West Africa) using the Ancient "Lost wax" technique.
A mold is prepared for each bead that is destroyed in order to remove the bead.
For each bead a hand made mold from wax is needed.
The glass beads (Krobo land-Ghana , West Africa) are made from bottles and other glass items that are turned into powder, then into molds in order to create this nice looking beads.
