Introducing a beautiful strand of NEW African disk glass beads, crafted with care by the talented artisans of Kroboland in Ghana, West Africa. These stunning beads are made from recycled tiny SEED glass beads, resulting in unique and eco-friendly creations that showcase the rich heritage of African craftsmanship.

The artisans in Kroboland utilize an intricate technique to produce these exquisite beads. Small recycled glass beads are carefully collected and cleaned before being placed into clay molds that define the shape and size of the final bead. These molds are then placed in a kiln and fired at high temperatures. During this process, the small beads fuse together to form larger, beautifully translucent beads with unique patterns and colors.

Once cooled, the beads are removed from the molds and polished to smooth out any rough edges. The result is a vibrant collection of beads that are not only visually stunning but also carry significant cultural importance in Ghanaian society. These beads are often used in ceremonies and are symbols of status and identity, reflecting the deep-rooted traditions and artistic excellence of the Krobo people.
