Authentic African Craftsmanship

This exquisite necklace is a testament to the skilled artistry of Ghanaian artisans. The brass bead, crafted in the Ashanti region (Kumasi, Ghana), is created using the ancient "Lost Wax" casting technique. Each bead requires a handmade wax mold, which is destroyed during the process—making every piece unique.

The translucent aqua blue powder glass beads originate from Krobo land (Ghana, West Africa). They are made from crushed recycled glass bottles, turned into fine powder, carefully placed in molds, and fired in a traditional firewood kiln. This sustainable process has been practiced for generations, producing vibrant and eco-friendly beads cherished worldwide.

Trade beads like these have played a vital role in African history, symbolizing wealth, status, and cultural heritage. Today, they continue to be a beautiful representation of African tradition and craftsmanship.
