Brass Beads – Lost Wax Casting Technique:
Each brass bead is meticulously handcrafted in the Ashanti region of Ghana (Kumasi) using the ancient “Lost Wax” technique. This age-old process involves sculpting a wax mold for each bead, encasing it in clay, and then melting the wax to create space for molten brass. Once cooled, the mold is broken to reveal a one-of-a-kind brass bead. Because the mold is destroyed in the process, each bead is truly unique.

Glass Beads – Krobo Powder Glass Technique:
Originating from Krobo land in Ghana, the stunning powder glass beads in this necklace are crafted using a sustainable method. Artisans crush recycled glass bottles into a fine powder, place the powder into molds, and fire them in a traditional firewood kiln. The result is beautiful, eco-friendly beads that hold cultural significance in African trade and heritage.

Trade Beads – A Legacy of African Culture:
For centuries, trade beads have played a significant role in African culture, serving as currency, symbols of status, and adornments for special ceremonies. Today, these handcrafted beads continue to showcase the rich artistic traditions of West Africa while making a bold fashion statement.

YOUR NECKLACE WILL BE IDENTICAL TO THE ONE SHOWN IN THE PHOTOGRAPH (GIVEN NORMAL VARIATION SINCE THESE BEADS ARE ALL COMPLETELY HANDMADE).
