Handmade Beaded Bracelet with Brass and Glass Beads – Ghana

Elevate your style with this stunning handmade beaded bracelet crafted from authentic glass and brass beads in Ghana, West Africa. This vibrant and unique beads bracelet is designed to add a touch of African heritage to your collection.

  • Inner circumference (unstretched): Approximately 6 3/4" (17 cm)
  • Fits wrist sizes up to: 8" (21 cm)
  • Bead size: 7 - 12 mm in diameter

The beads are strung on a durable elastic stretch cord, allowing the bracelet to slip on comfortably while ensuring a secure fit.

Authentic Ghanaian Craftsmanship

Brass Beads: Handcrafted in the Ashanti region (Kumasi - Ghana) using the ancient "Lost Wax" technique. Each bead requires a custom wax mold, which is destroyed after casting—making every bead truly one-of-a-kind.

Glass Beads: Created in Krobo land, Ghana, these beads are made from recycled bottles and other glass materials. The glass is crushed into fine powder, placed into molds, and fired in a traditional firewood kiln. The result is a set of vibrant and durable beads that reflect the rich cultural heritage of Ghana.

Beaded jewelry, particularly African beaded bracelets, has played a vital role in trade and adornment for centuries. These beads, also known as trade beads, have been used across Africa as a form of currency, storytelling, and personal expression. Owning this handmade beaded bracelet means carrying a piece of history and artistry with you.

YOUR BRACELET WILL BE IDENTICAL TO THE STRAND SHOWN IN THE PHOTOGRAPH (GIVEN NORMAL VARIATION SINCE THESE BEADS ARE ALL COMPLETELY HANDMADE).
