Introducing a striking strand of New Cube-Shaped African Brass Beads, meticulously handcrafted by the skilled artisans of Ashanti in Ghana, West Africa. Each bead is uniquely formed using the ancient and revered "Lost Wax" technique—a testament to the cultural heritage and craftsmanship of the region.
Each bead begins with a hand-molded wax model, which is then encased in a clay mold. The mold is heated until the wax melts away, leaving a hollow chamber. Molten brass is poured into this chamber, forming the bead upon cooling. The mold is destroyed to reveal the bead, ensuring that each piece is one-of-a-kind.
The beads on this strand are perfectly uniform in shape, with dimensions of 14 mm x 14 mm x 13 mm each, and the entire strand measures approximately 20.5 inches (52 cm) in length from bead to bead.
